Job summary

Little Pumpkins Nursery & Pre-Primary in England is seeking a dedicated Early Years practitioner with a Level 3 qualification to support our young learners. You will contribute to spontaneous learning experiences and a child-centred approach, both indoors and outdoors, within a not-for-profit setting.

You will work within a four-room setting, with a 4-day week over 50 weeks, ensuring high engagement, record-keeping, and active involvement of parents in each child's development.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years education and child development.
• Ability to support learning through play and spontaneous activities.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support children communicate their thoughts, ideas and needs and are listened to.
• Provide a stimulating learning environment, indoors and outdoors.
• Monitor and record children’s development and progress.
• Provide regular feedback to parents/carers, formally and informally.
• Engage parents/carers in the child’s learning journey.
• Support children with additional needs and ensure inclusive practice.
