Job summary

Your Nanny Friend in Hitchin is seeking an experienced nanny to join a lovely family on a long-term basis from mid-October. The role is Mon-Thu, 9am–5pm, caring for a two-year-old boy and a six-month-old baby girl in a friendly home.

The ideal candidate is warm, active and proactive, enjoys outings and group activities, and will help with meals, baby care, and keeping play spaces tidy. Comfort around dogs is required as there are dogs in the home.

Job description

A lovely family in Hitchin are looking for an experienced nanny to join them on a long-term basis from mid-October.

The family have two young children, a little boy who will be 2 in September and a 6-month-old baby girl.

They are looking for someone warm, friendly, active and proactive who has good experience with babies and toddlers and will become a trusted part of their family.

The Role

The nanny will work Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm.

The role will involve taking over from breakfast and providing a fun, stimulating and active day for the children. The family would love someone who enjoys getting out and about to classes and groups, planning activities, making use of the garden and generally getting involved in the children's day.

The role will also include supporting with weaning, preparing children's meals, children's laundry and keeping the children's areas tidy.

The family are looking for someone who is:
