Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Maintenance Mechanics for our York, PA client.

Pay: $19.50 - $22.50 per hour

Shift: Training Schedule: 1st - 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday. Once training is completed, will move to a 12-hour shift - 3 days one week/4 days the next week, 7:00pm - 7:00am

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on:
    • SIM Comail Lines
    • Mosca strapping systems
    • Domino inkjet printing systems
    • Rima stackers
    • Label-Aire pressure-sensitive labeling systems
    • ECS line control systems
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement timely corrective actions
  • Support production teams with quick-turn fixes during live jobs to reduce downtime
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic PLC troubleshooting
  • Document all maintenance work, including parts used and time spent, in maintenance logs
  • Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and coordinate with vendors for equipment support
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations
  • Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial or production maintenance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the equipment listed above (one or more)
  • Solid mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure
  • Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and maintenance software
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, when required
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training
