Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Senior Early Years Educator for the St Albans Nursery within our gym, delivering high-quality care for children from 3 months to 5 years. This role is full-time, with a permanent/fixed-term contract and a salary up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You should hold NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies (or equivalent) and have nursery experience. You will lead a small team, promote health and wellbeing, and ensure safeguarding obligations are met.

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Senior Early years Educator/Senior Nursery Nurse to be based at our nursery located in our Nuffield Health gym. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the brilliant nurseries inside the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. We’re looking for the right person to join us here and help ensure the best mix of high-quality care, learning and play.

As a Senior Early Years Educator it’s important that you’re qualified to NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies (or equivalent) and you have experience of working in a nursery setting.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will:

• Lead a small team, ensuring the highest standards are maintained
• Help deliver full day care, sessional care and pre-school for ages 3 months to 5 years
• Promote health and wellbeing, helping children achieve the best possible start in life
• Ensure that learning is linked to every child’s development
• Maintain great communication with parents, carers and external professionals
