Senior 3D graphics driver performance engineer
THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced 3D graphics driver performance engineer or developer to optimize and develop 3D drivers with a focus on game and machine learning performance optimizations. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the cutting edge of Ray Tracing, Machine Learning, and GPU architecture.

THE PERSON:
  • You are passionate about 3D graphics and improving the performance of games and applications utilizing the GPU.
  • Hands‑on experience and understanding of GPU architecture.
  • Good programming skills in HLSL, GLSL, OpenCL, CUDA or similar in addition to general software development skills in C++.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work optimally in a distributed team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze shader algorithms in HLSL data from performance tools, identify issues and potential optimization opportunities, and develop algorithms/shaders to achieve performance improvement.
  • Brainstorm with team­ s about potential solutions to optimize, experiment and refine optimizations and implement in driver s.
  • Contribute to performance tool improvements.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Good understanding of GPU architecture, memory management, and power management.
  • Good understanding of the 3D, Compute, Ray Tracing, and Machine Learning pipelines on GPUs.
  • Hands‑on experience in developing and optimizing Ray Tracing, Machine Learning, games/creative apps on GPUs using D3D, Vulkan, OpenGL, or Metal APIs.
  • Experience in HLSL, GLSL, OpenCL, CUDA or similar and strong C/C++ programming skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
