360 Excavator Operator - Wind Turbine Project (Pontypridd)

Location: Pontypridd, South Wales

Contract Type: Long-Term Contract / Temporary (6+ Months)

Salary/Rate: Excellent, DOE (Please state your rate on application)

The Company & Project:

We are representing a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor, and we are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced 360 Excavator Operators to join our team on a major new wind turbine project in Pontypridd.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile, renewable energy project that is shaping the future. We are looking for a reliable and professional operator to play a key role in the initial groundworks and site development phase.

The Role:

As a 360 Excavator Operator, you will be a crucial part of the on‑site team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Operating a 360‑degree excavator to perform precise digging, trenching, and earthmoving tasks.
• Assisting with the preparation of foundations for the new wind turbines.
• Working from engineering drawings and to site specifications.
• Conducting general site strip and levelling.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to company and industry regulations.
• Performing daily checks and basic maintenance on your machine.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a 360 Excavator Operator, preferably on large-scale construction or civil engineering projects.
• A valid CPCS or NPORS card is essential.
• Experience working on renewable energy or wind farm projects is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of health and safety protocols on a busy construction site.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow site foreman instructions.
• A positive, can‑do attitude and a strong work ethic.
