Overview

First Achieve Recruitment are seeking an experienced Above Ground 360° Material Handler Operator to join a highly respected company within the recycling and waste management sector.
This role is ideal for an operator with proven above-ground experience using grabs, magnets, and scrap handling attachments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate above-ground 360° material handlers safely and efficiently.
• Handle, sort, and load/unload various recyclable materials and scrap metals.
• Utilise grabs, magnets, and other attachments to move materials effectively.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report maintenance issues.
• Work collaboratively with yard and plant teams to maintain smooth material flow.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety and site regulations.

Requirements

• Valid 360° Material Handler / Excavator Ticket (CPCS or NPORS).
• Proven above-ground operating experience within a recycling, scrap, or waste environment.
• Experience using grabs and/or magnets.
• Strong awareness of site safety and compliance standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Please note: This role is specifically for operators with above-ground experience.
