£35,000 base salary + uncapped commission (10–40%)

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven Recruiter to join our team on a temporary basis to help build a cold construction desk (blue and white collar). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven business development skills who is hungry to generate new business, re‑engage lapsed clients, and establish a profitable desk in a fast‑paced sector.

Ideal for someone who thrives in sales‑focused recruitment, enjoys the challenge of cold calling, and has the resilience to build long‑lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop a cold construction desk across blue and white collar markets.
  • Proactively generate new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Re‑engage with lapsed clients and maximise existing relationships.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, and placing candidates.
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales and activity targets.
  • Stay up to date with market trends in the construction sector.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter, ideally within construction or a related sector.
  • Strong business development skills with a proven track record of winning new clients.
  • Confidence in making cold calls and overcoming objections.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and commercially minded.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles.
  • A professional, credible, and consultative approach.
