A governmental agency focused on environmental management is seeking an Asset Management Inspector in Canterbury. We are seeking to appoint an Asset Management Inspector to support the delivery of our Water, Land and Biodiversity (WLB) asset work across the Kent, South London and East Sussex area (KSLES). In this role you will ensure our assets remain safe, effective and resilient, while supporting future investment planning.

You will be expected to manage your own workload and work flexibly according to the demands of the role, with support from colleagues. Knowing the condition of our assets underpins our risk based approached to asset management. The information is used to help us plan our work and target our resources.
The WLB Asset Team sits within the Environment Management Department in Local Operations. You will report to the WLB Asset Team Leader, who will guide your workload alongside the Area Asset Management Technical Lead. The team is dynamic, adaptable and inclusive; you will be required to be flexible and adapt your ways of working according to changing guidance and new evidence. You will work with several different teams and attend sites across the KSLES area.
