Job Overview

3 day week Nanny Housekeeper required in Steeple Aston, Oxfordshire (id 864549). A professional family is looking for a sole charge nanny housekeeper to work 3 days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for their three children aged 3, 7 and 9 years old.

We are looking for an experienced nanny housekeeper who genuinely enjoys working with children and running a home. The ideal candidate is proactive, engaging, down to earth, warm, and likes using their own initiative.

The hours are 1pm–7pm during term time, and 8:30am–6:30pm in school holidays. The salary is £18 gross per hour.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work 3 days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) with the specified hours.
• Act as the sole charge nanny for children aged 3, 7 and 9.
• Drive to local activities, walks, arranged classes, and play dates.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
• Help run the household and manage routine tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years working with children of the same age.
• Childcare qualifications not essential but desirable.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to local activities.
• Up to date DBS on the update service and a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, one must be current or last employer and must be immediately contactable.
• No pets.
