Overview

Job Title: Van Driver (Ongoing Work - Basildon). Location: Basildon, Essex. Pay Rate: £14.28 per hour. Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 start - 9 hour shifts (occasional Saturdays).

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers for an ongoing position based in Basildon.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for steady, long-term work with a reputable company. You\'ll be responsible for delivering parcels across the South East of England, providing excellent service to customers and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop parcel deliveries across the South East
• Driving a 3.5T van (standard UK driving licence required)
• Start time: 07:30 AM
• Shift length: 9 hours
• Monday to Friday work with occasional Saturdays as required
• Routes pre-planned and loaded - just drive and deliver

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years van driving experience is essential
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points - no DR, DD, or IN convictions)
• Good geographical knowledge of the South East
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry parcels as part of the role
