Job summary

Pickfords Move Management Ltd is seeking personnel to safely load vehicles and containers, interfacing courteously with customers and maintaining service timetables. You will follow all company procedures, uphold discipline and safety standards, and supervise staff under your control.

You will need to read plans or drawings to direct staff, apply health and safety regulations, and carry out risk assessments as appropriate. Full on‑the‑job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely load vehicles or storage containers in accordance with company procedures.
• Provide courteous interface with customers and maintain service timetables.
• Enforce company safety, discipline and workmanship standards for staff under supervision.
• Read plans/drawings and instruct staff accordingly.
• Assist with Health & Safety regulations and risk assessments as required.
