Job summary

Pickfords Move Management Limited is seeking reliable Driver/Porters for full‑time, permanent roles in Poole. You will pack, load, transport and unload customers’ belongings for domestic and commercial moves across the UK, while delivering professional customer service.

Full training is provided with opportunities to progress to LGV/HGV driving. Ideal candidates are physically fit, team‑oriented and flexible, with a valid UK driving license and willingness to travel and stay away from home as

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely packing, loading, transporting and unloading customers’ belongings.
• Completing domestic and commercial removals throughout the UK.
• Providing a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers.
• Working as part of a removals crew to ensure moves run smoothly.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks where required.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting colleagues and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction on every move.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid UK driving licence (essential).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented.
• Previous experience in removals, logistics, delivery driving, transport, warehousing or a similar role would be advantageous.

• 3.5T licence holders welcome.
• 7.5T licence holders welcome.
• LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence advantageous but not essential.
