Job summary

Pickfords in the UK is hiring Driver / Porter roles across 3.5T, 7.5T and HGV Class 2. We offer full training and a clear path to higher licence categories as you gain experience.

You will safely pack, load and move customers' belongings on domestic and commercial relocations, work as part of a crew, and ensure outstanding customer service on every move. A valid UK driving licence and physical fitness are essential, with weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence is required.
• Excellent customer service andcommunication skills are essential.
• Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented. Experience in removals/logistics is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home; occasional weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely packing, loading, transporting and unloading customers' belongings.
• Completing domestic and commercial removals throughout the UK.
• Providing a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers.
• Working as part of a removals crew to ensure moves run smoothly.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks where required.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting colleagues and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction on every move.
