Working hours

Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm and alternating Saturdays 7am to 12pm

As a 3.5t Driver , you’ll play a key role in our delivery and collection service. Your role goes beyond driving, you’ll ensure every customer interaction is positive, professional, and reflects our company values. By safely transporting our equipment and providing excellent service, you’ll help make every delivery a great experience.

What does the 3.5t Driver role involve?
  • Drive the company vehicle safely and responsibly at all times, following traffic laws, the Highway Code, and company policies.
  • Deliver and collect equipment, ensuring every customer interaction is positive and professional.
  • Use company technology, such as smartphones and route planning tools, to record deliveries and manage schedules.
  • Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks, reporting any defects, and keeping the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well‑presented.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment safely, using training and equipment provided.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding our company values and professionalism at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with depot, warehouse, and customer service teams to resolve any delivery or collection issues.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about delivery times, equipment use, or collection arrangements.
  • Support additional tasks as needed, such as stock movement, depot assistance, or vehicle cover.
  • Follow health & safety guidance at all times to keep yourself and others safe.
What do you need to succeed as a 3.5t Driver?
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics / transport role (training can be provided).
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally.
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude, with a willingness to support the team.
  • Good time management and organisational skills to plan and follow routes efficiently.
  • Comfortable using technology, such as smartphones and apps, to record deliveries and manage schedules.
  • Ability to safely handle goods of varying sizes and weights, with training and equipment provided.
  • A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues across the depot, warehouse, and customer service teams.
