Job summary

Currys plc in Carlisle is looking for a 3.5T Driver in our Carlisle Customer Service Centre. This permanent, full-time role carries a salary of £31,894.20 and a 5 over 7 days shift pattern.

You will be trained to install the smart tech you deliver, from washing machines to 4K TVs, and you’ll meet customers on the road, making each encounter memorable. A full UK/EA licence with up to 6 penalty points is required, with a strong focus on customer service and safe handling of heavy stock; Currys

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time.


• Installing a range of different products for our customers.


• Making every customer encounter memorable.


• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role.

Yes, you'll need to love driving and being on the road, but you'll need to love helping customers too. Our training will cover both state-of-the-art-tech and people skills as well – it's all about equipping you to leave a smile on customers' faces.

You will need:

• A full UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points.


• A passion for delivering great customer service.


• The ability to handle heavy stock.
