Job summary

Pertemps Crawley Perms in Coulsdon is hiring a 3.5T Delivery Driver to join our team on a temporary basis with a view to permanency. The role involves local deliveries across Surrey, safe driving, and excellent customer service.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, with pay £14.16 per hour and a focus on reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct on the road. Experience with 3.5T vans is preferred; valid UK licence required; be comfortable loading and unloading and following

Qualifications

• Experience delivering in a 3.5T vehicle preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Good communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5T van safely and responsibly at all times.
• Delivering products to businesses and customers across Surrey.
• Following pre-planned delivery routes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loading and unloading goods as required.
• Ensuring the security of the vehicle, goods and load at all times.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Completing deliveries accurately and on schedule.
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly.
