Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a part-time delivery driver to join our local delivery team in the Warwick area. You will be responsible for loading stock at the branch, delivering to customers, unloading at customer sites and completing paperwork with accuracy. The role may include some weekend shifts and part-time patterns.

We value excellent customer service, reliability and a positive attitude. A Cat B / 3.5T licence and prior driving experience are essential, with the ability to carry out manual

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Cat B / 3.5T licence.
• At least two years of driving experience.
• Previous delivery driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch for delivery.
• Deliver to customer premises and unload, ensuring accuracy of paperwork.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on a part time contract, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

Main Responsibilities

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
