Speedy is hiring a Delivery Driver to operate a 3.5 tonne flatbed van in Cambridge, delivering hire equipment locally. The role is busy and customer-facing, essential to the operation.

Hours are Mon-Fri 07:30-17:00, 42 hours per week, with flexible start/finish times and job-share options. A valid UK licence and local knowledge are required; benefits include pension, life assurance and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Strong customer focus and reliability.
• Experience driving within the UK is desirable.
• Ability to support ESG initiatives (Decade to Deliver).

Responsibilities

• Deliver hire equipment locally using a 3.5t flatbed van.
• Be the face of the Speedy Group, upholding its values.
• Assist in coordinating daily deliveries to meet schedule and customer needs.
