Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver to join our local driving team. You’ll play a key role in keeping customers supplied with their shelves, while building strong relationships with regular customers.

This 7-day operation may include weekends, with overtime opportunities and a focus on delivering a great service. You will load stock at the branch, deliver to customer sites, and complete paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence is required.
• Two years driving experience preferred.
• Experience of delivery driving is beneficial.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch.
• Unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• Cat B / 3.5T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
