Job summary

Booker Group in Aldershot is hiring a delivery driver to join our local fleet. You will work 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 roster, with some weekend work, ensuring timely deliveries and friendly service to our regular customers.

You will load stock at the branch, unload at customer sites, complete paperwork accurately, and maintain strong relationships with customers. A Cat B licence and two years of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence held.
• Two years driving experience.
• Strong customer service and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Make sure customers shelves are kept full by delivering product to customer premises.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer sites.
• Complete paperwork accurately following deliveries.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an “Any 5 from 7” contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

Main Responsibilities

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
