Job summary

Stirling Warrington in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Offline CNC Miller Programmer to join its automotive engineering team. You will program, set and operate 3-5 axis milling machines and perform online and offline programming to produce bespoke components.

The role requires strong reading of drawings, machining knowledge and tight tolerance control; time-served apprenticeship is desirable. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

Programming, setting and operating 3- and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Online programming using Hurco WinMax and Fanuc controls.
Offline programming using SolidCAM.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of machining processes and tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

Program, set and operate 3 & 5 Axis CNC milling machines.
Online programming using Hurco WinMax and Fanuc controls.
Offline programming using SolidCAM.
Manufacture bespoke and low-volume components.
Produce tooling, fixtures and jigs as required.
Perform in-process inspection and quality checks.
