Job summary

Chiltern Way Academy Austen in Basingstoke seeks a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to help students thrive. You will support teachers, work with individuals or small groups, promote behaviour and independence, and help maintain a calm learning environment in a setting that supports ASC and SEMH needs.

The role requires patience, flexibility, and strong communication to build positive relationships with young people.

Qualifications

• Patient, flexible and enthusiastic.

• A team player with good communication skills.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• GCSE English & Maths (A-C) and ideally NVQ Level 2.
