Job description
2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Reading, PA – fully on‑site.

Pay: $24.00–$33.00 per hour, with raises offered quarterly.

Shift: 2nd – 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be required during extended production runs.

Paid holidays and vacation are provided.

Physical Demands
  • Standing, bending, stooping for 8‑hour shifts.
  • Ability to lift, twist, bend, stand, sit, kneel.
  • Manual dexterity needed to perform activities.
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate production records during shifts (bag weights, product completion times, waste, etc.).
  • Clean and sanitize plant and production equipment, including packaging machines, floors, ovens, belts, etc.
  • Observe and comply with all safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SQF, and company SOPs.
  • Wear proper PPE for job duties.
  • Report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety‑related issues to management.
  • May be requested to temporarily cover work assignments based on business/production demands.
  • Read, write, and understand English.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Knowledge of SQF, FSMA, HACCP preferred.
