Job Overview

At Ark ICT, we are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled "2nd Line Support Technician" to join our team! We provide a broad range of IT services to schools and businesses across the East Midlands and need someone with a solid technical background to help deliver top‑tier support to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd Line technical support to a diverse range of clients, including schools and small businesses.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows Operating Systems.
  • Manage and maintain Office 365 environments.
  • Handle client escalations from 1st Line Support.
  • Provide remote support and monitor system health to prevent service disruptions.
  • Document technical issues and solutions.
  • Offer advice on best practices and ensure excellent customer service.
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Schools ICT environments.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or Intune.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions, IT ticketing systems, ITIL processes, scripting or automation, and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem‑solving, and a willingness to learn new skills.

Location & Working Hours
