Job summary

Experis is seeking a Duty Technician to help maintain smooth operation of our supply chain, manage inventory, service equipment, and uphold quality control. This role suits a detail‑oriented technician capable of handling diverse tasks across hardware and software.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, good problem solving, and a solid understanding of supply chain principles, with the ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience handling technical support incidents and requests.
• Ability to communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of hardware and software basics.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming technical support incidents, requests and changes.
• Manage personal call queue, ensuring calls are closed in a timely fashion.
• Provide updates and ensure ongoing customer communication is maintained.
• Resolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex server queries.
• Escalation of calls to 3rd Line Team as necessary.
• Work as part of a close-knit and highly skilled team of Engineers.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work with other internal teams (3rd Line Technical Delivery Teams, Development, Projects, etc.)
• Perform software builds/re-builds on PCs and laptops as required.
• Fix hardware faults and install upgrades to client hardware.

ROLE TITLE: Duty Technician

LOCATION: Hursley

CLEARANCE: The ideal candidate will have active SC Clearance or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.

SALARY: £48,000 per annum
