Job summary

A leading cruise line in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of engine machinery. Candidates must hold an IMO Certificate and have at least 3 years of watchkeeping experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in cruise environments. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working as a watchkeeper.
• Experience working within a cruise ship environment.
• 2nd Engineer experience or higher is a plus.

I am looking for a 2nd Engineer to join a leading Cruise Line. You will be inspecting, maintaining and operating machinery with the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned watch-keeping officers
• Monitor and control all engine machinery whilst on watch
• Coordinate and conduct assigned maintenance work including correct record keeping
• Oversee safe operation at all times
• Other duties required in this position

Requirements: Minimum Requirements

• To apply for this role, you must hold an IMO Certificate, Regulation III / 2, 2nd Engineer
• 3+ years of experience working as a watchkeeper
• Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a cruise ship environment
• 2nd Engineer experience or higher is a plus
