Job description

As the Team Manager for 2nd Charge Mortgage Case Managers, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing the performance of our team. We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional with a deep understanding of the second charge mortgage market and underwriting processes.

Salary 40k basic + bonus including car allowence.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
  • Manage and lead a team of 2nd Charge Mortgage Case Managers.
  • Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to exceed performance target
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate comprehensive Management Information (MI) reports, including pipeline cases, completions, and volume projections.
  • Proactively monitor and manage pipeline cases throughout the end-to-end process.
Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure adherence to file quality standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review underwriting decline decisions, exploring and challenging all available options.
Process Excellence:
  • Drive continuous improvement in business operations and efficiency.
  • Plan and implement innovative processes and strategies to enhance team productivity.
Training and Development:
  • Effectively manage team members, providing continuous training and development.
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning to ensure optimal team efficiency.
Performance Recognition:

Conduct regular team meetings to recognize achievements, review targets, and discuss workloads.
