Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a CAD Engineer/Estimator in Dudley to create precise 2D drawings using AutoCAD and to manage estimating tasks for each project. The role combines design work with cost estimation in a manufacturing/precision engineering context.

The successful candidate will gather engineering specifications, update legacy drawings, and provide technical support to the team, with training available for junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a design-related position.
• Experience creating 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• CAD CAM experience would be advantageous.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to gather and work to engineering specifications.
• Create detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD 2D software.
• Review and update legacy drawings.
• Provide technical support to the wider team.
• Assist with the CAD/CAM programming when required.
• Carry out estimating responsibilities for each project.
