NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Band 6 Rotational Physiotherapist to join the Acute Physiotherapy Service at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, offering nine monthly rotations across orthopaedics, acute medicine, general surgery, rehabilitation and respiratory care.

You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred assessments and treatments, support discharge planning and participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives, while working within a supportive multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered physiotherapist with Band 6 or equivalent post-registration experience.
• Experience in acute hospital settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centred assessment and treatment across acute rotations.
• Support timely discharge planning and bed management.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
• Participate in on-call rota on weekdays and weekends.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking Band 6 Rotational Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive Acute Physiotherapy Service at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary.

This exciting rotational post offers excellent opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills across a variety of acute and specialist areas whilst working as part of a highly valued multidisciplinary team. Nine monthly Rotations may include:

• Orthopaedics (Trauma and Elective)
• Acute Medicine
• General Surgery including CCU
• Rehabilitation & Stroke
• Respiratory Care
• MSK
• Community

You will be required to work on the weekday and weekend on call rota.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred assessment and treatment, support timely discharge planning and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
