Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Personal Care Assistant in Cramlington to provide 24-hour, one-to-one support for a client with complex health needs. You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, and daily activities, while enabling an active social life and independence.

The role requires a full UK driving license, a confident driver for an adapted van, and a positive, proactive approach. Training and induction will be provided for the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Driver – You must be confident driving my adapted automatic Mercedes Sprinter van.
• Non-smoker – No perfume, aftershave, or scented products can be worn while on shift.
• Female Personal Assistant – With a minimum of one year's experience providing physical hands on care.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and complex medical care
• Preparing nutritious meals suitable for allergies and intolerances
• Supporting daily physiotherapy routines and mobility needs
• Assisting discretely during school placements and daily activities
• Supporting me to have an active social life: cinema, theatre, meals out in Newcastle
• Enabling participation in hobbies and independent living with discreet support
