Qualifications

• Must be a Registered General Nurse to apply.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in critical or acute care.
• Specialist skills in either Neuro, Cardiac, or General ITU/HDU are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a nurse-led Outreach Service 24/7 to acutely unwell patients.
• Monitor patients transferred from ITU to wards and advise on needed care.
• Educate and mentor ward teams to optimise patient care.

Skills

Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin

At least 3 years’ experience in critical or acute care

Specialist skills in Neuro, Cardiac, or General ITU/HDU

Excellent communication skills

Time management and prioritisation skills

Education

Completion of a Critical Care Course (60 credits)
