A health service organization in Scotland is seeking a qualified professional to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves assessing patient care needs, managing departmental responsibilities in the Clinical Lead's absence, and ensuring high-quality care delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a PVG membership and have experience in patient care management. Flexible working hours are required, including nights and weekends.

As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs, evaluation of care plans, ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. In the absence of the Clinical Lead the post holder will have continuing responsibility for the management of the Department including supervision and deployment of staff.
The post holder has responsibility and accountability for maintaining both clinical and staff governance.
The post holder will be expected to participate in duty rosters consisting of day, late, weekends and night shift working.
The post holder will be required to participate in on call rosters, which provide 24 hour cover over 7 days per week.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. If there is any change to what is currently required, this will be confirmed by either the Hiring Manager or the Recruitment Team.
