A healthcare organization in Dumfries is looking for two Dental Therapist Tutors to teach in the BSc Oral Health Science program. One full-time and one part-time position are available. Candidates must be registered with the GDC and have experience in education or be willing to train. Duties include delivering lessons via video conferencing and obtaining necessary clearances. The role provides an opportunity to work in a flexible and collaborative environment.
NHS Dumfries and Galloway are looking for two Dental Therapist Tutors based at the Dumfries Dental Centre.
We have one full-time, 37hpw, post and one part-time post, 29.6hpw over 4 days a week. Candidates will be considered for both posts unless they clearly indicate a preference on their application.
The post holder should be a registrant with the GDC and have experience of, or be willing to undertake training in, education. The successful applicant will be part of a team of tutors delivering the University of Highlands and Islands, BSc Oral Health Science, in this innovative course which spans Dumfries, Inverness and Stornoway. Familiarly with IT systems will be helpful as teaching is undertaken across video conferencing systems and in the virtual learning environment.
This post will require the successful applicant to have/obtain PVG Clearance.
