Job Details

Post: Project Support Assistant

Tenure: Temporary for 2 years – 12.5hrs (2.5hrs a day across Monday to Friday) based at Pennywell All Care Centre

Salary: AfC Band 3

Post-holder will work primarily within the Maternal and Infant Nutrition Service, hosted within Public Health and Health Policy.

  • Coordinate the breastpump loan service, including arranging distribution through internal mail.
  • Ensure pumps are returned and cleaned so they can be redistributed.
  • Support evaluation of the service and provide administrative support to other aspects of the service.
  • Possible requirement to work across NHS Lothian sites.
Qualifications and Requirements

Post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (e.g., child and/or adult) an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

Additional Information

This part‑time post is pro‑rata salary. The Department of Public Health and Health Policy aims to improve and protect the health of people in Lothian as part of a whole system approach to public health in Scotland.
