An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Administrative Assistant to join NHS Lothian’s Clinical Education and Training Team. This role supports education governance in NHS Lothian for Nursing and Midwifery by maintaining training records and providing support to staff using our services. This post reports to the Project Support Officer for the Clinical Education and Training Strategic Team.

Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain training records and provide support to staff using education services.
  • Support education governance activities within NHS Lothian for Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Prioritise workload and deliver an effective and efficient service within the parameters of the post.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Evidence of administrative role experience.
  • Experience with eESS and Excel would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will have autonomy and will work in a self-directed way within the parameters set for the post, responsible for prioritising workload and ensuring delivery of an effective and efficient service.
