TD Securities Inc. is seeking a talented Investment Banking Summer Analyst for a 10-week London internship.

You will gain exposure to global capital markets, advisory services and market insights while working with integrated teams across sectors. The program starts with formal training on financial institutions, Excel and PowerPoint, followed by hands-on experience across M&A, valuation and client presentations with bankers at all levels.

Business Context

Our Investment Banking team is a leading global franchise with over 500 professionals in North America, Europe and Asia. We provide our corporate and institutional clients with capital markets and financial advisory services and integrated solutions. We're looking for talented individuals to join our London Investment Banking team in the following sector teams: Global Energy, Power and Utilities: Coverage of the leading global and European energy, power and utility companies and financial investors across multiple subsectors such as oil & gas, power, new energies, and regulated and non-regulated infrastructure Technology : Technology & data solution providers, delivered through a SaaS model in specific sectors such as Automotive, Maritime, GRC, LegalTech, etc. can we change VSDA to Technology Communications and Media : Telecommunications and digital infrastructure (e.g., fibre, data centres, broadcast and telecom towers, satellites, submarine cables, etc.) Mining: Coverage of the metals and mining sector, including copper, gold, silver, and other commodities, with a core focus on upstream exploration, development, and production businesses

Position Overview

As an Investment Banking Summer Analyst, you will be exposed to a wide variety of clients, sectors, financial services and products, and work with various integrated teams that will provide you with the necessary skills to develop, grow and thrive in Investment Banking. The internship will begin with one week of formal training for all London TD summer analysts that includes orientation and interactive technical training. This training is designed to teach you the building blocks of financial institutions, Excel, and PowerPoint, which will prepare you for the next nine weeks of the internship. Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to engage with bankers at all levels across all teams. Summer Analysts will also be able to participate in social networking events with one-another as well as colleagues across all divisions on an on-going basis to experience our culture and integrate with our Firm.

• Fluency in at least one additional European language is advantageous
