Job summary

FTI Consulting, Inc. is seeking a cybersecurity intern for the EMEA region in London. You will support a range of cyber engagements, including forensic investigations and threat intelligence, while developing reports for law firms, financial institutions and multinationals.

The role requires a 2:1 degree in a technical or investigative discipline, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a collaborative mindset. This is a full-time internship with a structured development program for 2028 graduates.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work full-time from 5th July – 27th August 2027.
• Graduating in 2028.
• Pursuing/holding a minimum 2:1 university degree, preferably in an investigative, technical or scientific subject.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical data quickly to triage breaches and understand root causes and impact.
• Lead digital forensic investigations.
• Generate threat intelligence and undertake digital exposure assessments.
• Contribute to sophisticated, readable reports for top-tier clients.
• Support remediation activities for post-breach clients where appropriate.

The role will require you to support a wide range of cybersecurity engagements in a fast-paced environment, including:Analysing technical data quickly to triage breaches and understand root causes and impact.Leading digital forensic investigations.Generating threat intelligence and undertaking digital exposure assessments.Contributing to sophisticated, polished and readable reports for our valued client base of top-tier law firms, financial institutions and multi-national corporations.Developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of industry-critical trends, threats, methodologies, and technologies.Supporting remediation activities for post-breach clients, where appropriate.Engaging with experts within the FTI team to challenge new ideas and develop thought leadership on relevant topics.Identifying areas for improvement and making suggestions to expand our portfolio of services and/or improve our working efficiency.How You’ll GrowWe are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities.
