PIMCO in London is offering a 10-week Summer Internship as a Product Analyst, EMEA. The role sits in the Product Strategy Group and exposes you to financial markets, product design, and client communications.

You will work with multiple specialty teams across investment strategies, gaining hands-on experience with AI-powered tools and analytics, while developing strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and professional written and verbal communication.

2027 Summer Internship - Product Analyst, EMEA

Internship positions are located at PIMCO's London office

You're eligible to apply if you:

• Are an undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 - June 2028
• Are available to begin full time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 - August 2028
• Are on track to achieve a minimum 2.1 degree (or equivalent)
• Are business proficient in English

You'll excel as a Product Analyst if you:

• Have a passion for financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment management
• Possess a strong analytical skill set with a good understanding of programming languages being a plus
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Have the ability to relay complex ideas clearly
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to join a fast-paced, high performance culture
• Are results oriented, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Have demonstrated curiosity and experience in using new emerging technologies and AI tools in your work or school projects to solve problems and drive better outcomes

You will work within the Product Strategy Group, a global team of over 130 professionals responsible for financial market expertise (both internally and externally), strategic business management, entrepreneurship and marketing for a wide range of PIMCO product lines. You'll gain broad exposure to financial markets, product design, development and distribution, portfolio analysis, and client communication.

You will work with one or multiple specialty teams that focus on covering specific investment strategies (e.g., Credit, Emerging Markets, Alternatives, etc). You'll gain a strong understanding of the business of investment management across different market segments. Responsibilities vary between teams but may include:

The PIMCO Internship Experience:

The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program

During Week 1, you'll participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training, providing you with the skills, knowledge, and relationships that will prepare you for success

Alongside your colleagues, you will participate in PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering , developed to heighten the impact of our employees' worldwide volunteer efforts

Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders and team will offer guidance and mentorship throughout the summer

You will gain hands‑on experience with AI‑powered tools from day one, with training and resources that help build future ready skills and make an impact from the start

You'll receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process to keep you on the path to meeting your summer goals
