UBS is seeking ambitious students to join the 2027 Apprenticeship Program within our Asset Management business. You will coordinate and facilitate client-related items to deliver a best-in-class experience, and you will generate performance and risk reports while developing a deep understanding of our industry, culture and strategy.

The 4-year program progresses from Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist to Level 6 Financial Services Professional, with the potential CFA 1 and a BSc (Honors)

Qualifications

• A-level ABB at A-level and GCSEs in English (Language Level 5) and Mathematics (Level 6) required.
• Interest in asset management and financial industry essential.
• Ability to evidence how AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.

Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically within asset management, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Apprenticeship Program within our Asset Management business.

You’ll Get To

Your team

You’ll be working in one of the largest hedge funds and real estate investment managers in the world, one of the leading fund houses in Europe, and the largest mutual fund manager in Switzerland.

We’re Looking For a Candidate Who

• has completed their A-levels or equivalent between September 2025 and September 2027
• has achieved ABB at A-level plus GCSEs (or equivalent) in English language (Level 5) and Mathematics (Level 6)
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. You do need to have an interest in asset management and the financial industry. We’re keen to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team.

Your program

This apprenticeship will last 4 years. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations.

The first stage of your apprenticeship is a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist, and upon completion, you’ll then progress onto a Level 6 Financial Services Professional apprenticeship. In the final stage of your apprenticeship, you can obtain your Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) 1, with the potential to gain a BSc (Honors) degree.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
