Overview

Strategic Infrastructure delivers major electricity transmission projects across England and Wales, supporting the UK Government’s ambition to connect 50GW of offshore wind by 2030. As a Graduate Associate Project Manager you will support the delivery of these transformative projects, gaining hands‑on experience across engineering, procurement, commercial and construction activities.

Responsibilities
  • Support project delivery across the lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality, time and cost.
  • Develop skills in commercial, contractual and financial management, contributing to the creation of innovative and compliant design solutions.
  • Support quality assurance processes and help maintain National Grid’s Quality Management System.
  • Observe and monitor contractor activities on site, ensuring alignment with National Grid’s Safety, Health & Sustainability standards and UK Health & Safety legislation.
  • Participate in the 18‑month Graduate Programme, attending in‑person and virtual development sessions to develop leadership, business and technical skills.
Qualifications

  • Full valid UK driving licence or current theory test with practical test booked.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the role and throughout programme rotations.
