Our EMEA Facilities Infrastructure team sits at the very centre of these fantastic work environments, ensuring the experience for customers, employees and guests is never compromised and is second to none.
As part of the EMEA team you will gain hands‑on experience supporting the technical building infrastructure operations & project delivery across the EMEA region. You’ll learn how to manage mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, work with both internal stakeholders & external vendors to uphold Bloomberg’s standards of service, and contribute to maintaining the reliability and resilience of our offices and data centres. You will have exposure to a broad range of business essential engineering systems, from air conditioning our critical communications networks, sophisticated building control systems to high & low voltage electrical distribution.
Three A-levels (or equivalent) with grades (predicted or achieved) A - C
Candidates must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
Possess the right to work in the UK
Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years
A genuine interest in building services and engineering
A passion for delivering the highest service standards
Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and develop practical skills through hands‑on experience
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to work effectively with colleagues and vendors
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately, even when things get busy
Curiosity and willingness to learn, with the ability to pick up and retain new information
Team player mindset with the confidence to work independently when needed
Problem‑solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Interest in sustainability and how it applies to modern building design and operations
Awareness or willingness to learn about health & safety and maintenance practices
Organised and adaptable approach, able to support multiple projects and shift priorities as needed
Excitement about being part of a global, fast‑paced environment where every day brings something new
