A leading global beauty company is looking for a Business Development Intern in Greater London. In this role, you will support our efforts in category management, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams. You will generate insightful reports, conduct competitor analysis, and foster relationships with internal teams. We seek a proactive second-year university student with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This position offers a unique chance to develop project management and communication abilities within a vibrant team environment.
L'Oréal sells 50 products every second worldwide, a testament to our global reach and consumer connection. As a Business Development Intern, you'll be instrumental in growing our five main product categories: haircare, hair colour, fragrances, cosmetics, and skincare. The Business Development Team strengthens the vital relationship between retailer and supplier, fostering greater collaboration to exchange information, share data, and collectively build category growth. This role offers significant exposure to both our Sales and Marketing teams, providing ample opportunities to develop your project management skills, test your communication, efficiency, coordination, and interpersonal abilities, with a strong emphasis on managing your own projects.
In this role, you will be empowered to think of unique ways to improve our product categories and communicate these effectively to retailers. You'll take ownership of initiatives aimed at enhancing category performance, contributing to the broader brand strategy, and identifying opportunities for growth in the market.
You must be in your second year at University on a course which enables you to take an Industrial Placement Year (unfortunately, if you are graduated, you are not eligible).
