Overview

Get paid to enjoy good company and enable a visually impaired gentleman to support his son whilst he plays football around the area, taking them to and from matches and enjoy the youth football activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and transport for a visually impaired gentleman and his guide dog to football matches and youth football activities.
• Drive own vehicle to and from matches; ensure safe, reliable transport while respecting the needs of the client and guide dog.
• Assist with planning and coordinating transport as part of a rota system (up to 8 hours per week).
• Support holiday plans and cover for other staff as needed (additional hours may be available).

Qualifications

• Own vehicle and a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Interest in football and sports.
• Available a few spare hours on weekdays and weekends.
• OK with an assistance dog travelling in the car (the gentleman’s guide dog).
• Enhanced DBS check is essential.
• Driving Licence (preferred).
