Role: Part-Time Art & DT Teacher – 2 days/week (Tues & Thurs)

Setting: Secondary school in South Gloucestershire

What You’ll Do

• Lead creative and practical lessons in Art and DT, helping students develop design thinking and artistic skill
• Work with a varied cohort, including students who speak English as an additional language, and those needing bespoke learning support
• Design and run small-group or individual sessions tailored to specific learning needs
• Support extra-curricular clubs (there’s already a thriving D&T club and textile club)
• Contribute to the school’s inclusive culture, underpinned by a strong rights-respecting ethos

Who You Are

• A qualified teacher (or working towards qualification) in Art, Product Design, or DT
• Someone excited by both the creative and technical sides of design
• Flexible and adaptable — ready to teach in different modes (whole class, small group, 1:1)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
