Job Overview

2.5 day Nanny Housekeeper role in Alresford, SO24. This family is looking for a nanny for their two young girls aged 6 and 3 years. The role is 25 hours over 2.5 days. A typical working week could be Monday 4‑7 pm, Wednesday 9 am to 7 pm and Thursday 7 am to 7 pm; 25 hours per week. The family can also offer flexibility by adjusting the days/times slightly to suit the nanny (e.g., swapping Monday to Tuesday).

Responsibilities

• School/nursery pick‑up and drop‑off (both at the same place)
• Transport to clubs and activities
• Help with homework
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks and manage morning/bedtime routines
• Plan fun days out and create age‑appropriate activities during school holidays
• Housekeeping tasks on Thursdays (cleaning downstairs, bedrooms, bathrooms and routine nursery duties)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of two years nannying experience
• Paediatric first aid certificate (12‑hour or equivalent)
• Childcare qualification not essential, but suitable experience with children of similar ages is required
• Enhanced DBS certificate (up‑to‑date)
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, including a current or last employer
• Valid driver licence and own car (driver required)
• Appropriate personal insurance recommended
