Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is recruiting 2–3 experienced Slinger/Signallers for a 6–8 week contract on the HS2 project at Long Itchington North. You will support lifting operations with two mobile cranes and use two-way radio communications in a fast-paced environment.

Mandatory HS2 induction, CSCS/NPORS with CSCS logo, and mobile crane experience are essential. SCW medical and PPE must be valid. Site RAMS compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Mandatory HS2 induction (active and verifiable).
• CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo required.
• Endorsements: Slinger / Signaller ticket with mobile crane experience.
• Medical: Valid Safety Critical Worker medical and recent Drug & Alcohol test.
• PPE: Full orange hi-vis RIS-3279-TOM compliant, hard hat with chin strap, safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Guide and signal 2x mobile cranes safely across site.
• Communicate via two-way radios and standard hand signals.
• Inspect tackle, sling complex loads, ensure RAMS compliance.
• Maintain standard site hours across the assignment.

Location: Long Itchington North (CV47 2GS)

Start Date: Tuesday or Wednesday (Immediate Start)

Duration: 6 - 8 Weeks

Contract Type: Temporary / Contract

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting 2 to 3 experienced Slinger / Signallers for a 6 to 8-week contract on the HS2 project based out of Long Itchington North. You will be supporting lifting operations alongside two mobile cranes, utilizing two-way radio communications in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Mandatory: Valid HS2 Induction (active and verifiable).
• Card Scheme: Valid CPCS or NPORS (must have the CSCS logo).
• Endorsements: Slinger / Signaller ticket with mobile crane experience.
• Medical: Valid Safety Critical Worker (SCW) medical and recent Drug & Alcohol test.
• PPE: Full orange hi-vis (RIS-3279-TOM compliant), hard hat with chin strap, safety glasses, and metatarsal safety boots.
• Experience: Proven background working with mobile cranes on major infrastructure/civils projects.

Job Details & Responsibilities
