Job summary

A community-focused organization in Bristol is seeking an ICT Support Technician to assist staff with technology issues. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for ICT support, resolving user requests, and requires a full driving licence. Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft products and excellent customer-service skills. This is a fixed-term position for six months with 37 hours per week.

Job description

Fixed Term – 6 months, 37 hours per week.

Our colleagues use a variety of technologies such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and software applications including Microsoft products and internal business systems.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for ICT support via the online ticket system, telephone, in‑person, or service desk software.
  • Handle a wide range of user requests, including account set‑up, device configuration, and troubleshooting laptop issues.
  • Work across both Portishead and Weston‑Super‑Mare offices, requiring a full driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365 products.
  • Basic technical knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Excellent customer‑service skills – able to explain complex technical issues to non‑technical colleagues.
