We are seeking to appoint a part time Student Progression Advisor, who will play a key role in supporting the academic success of individual students within the School of Engineering – Technology and Innovation, based at our Uxbridge Campus. You will deliver a tutorial curriculum to groups of students and lead on providing core elements of the College’s employability agenda. The role will involve providing personal support on a one-to-one basis through regular guidance, target-setting, tracking and contributing to student progression and career plans. You will identify barriers to learning and implement strategies to address behaviour, attendance and punctuality.
You should have experience of delivery to groups of students and supporting young people. You should be able to engage with all learners and adapt strategies for different abilities, behaviours and learning styles. You will be able to implement strategies to overcome barriers to learning and will be able to effectively engage and motivate young people.
