Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates is seeking a reliable 18T HIAB driver to join our client’s depot in Witham. The role focuses on safe deliveries and efficient collections, with a strong emphasis on customer service and regulatory compliance.

The candidate must hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence and HIAB with hook attachment, plus at least one year of driving experience and load-securing skills. DVLA checks may apply during screening.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV Licence.
• Valid HIAB Licence with hook attachment.
• Proven HGV driving experience.
• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• Experience using ratchet straps and securing loads.
• Ability to complete driver and delivery documentation accurately.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections, following customer and delivery instructions.
• Provide a professional and reliable service when attending customer sites.
• Operate the HIAB hook attachment safely.
• Load and secure goods safely using ratchet straps.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and report any issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain clear records of deliveries and any handling or location-specific requirements.
• Assist with yard duties, including loading, unloading and stock organisation as required.
• Work with the depot team to maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
